Apple trademark filing points to cellular offering
Recent trademark filings by Apple is leading to speculation about the iPod maker’s plans regarding the cellular phone market. Last week, Apple filed four applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the term “Mobile Me.”
This would be the right move, in my opinion, on the part of Apple. Motorola’s Rokr was lame, and Apple’s designers and marketing team may be the only ones who could really successfully design and market an ipod phone.
