iPOD error message

“itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode. you must restore this ipod before it can be used with itunes”
If you’re receving this error message over and over again while you plug in your iPOD, it could be because you have it plug into a computer that is on a network and the iPOD is using a network drive.
- right click on mycomputer and select manage
- click on disk management and see on top which letter is assigned to the iPOD.
- just change it to something else like Z: and click ok
It took me hours to figure this one out. Even Apple support don’t mention it.
