gpSPhone v1.8.0 Beta: Cheat code support added
Developer ZodTTD is sending word that version 1.8.0 Beta of the gpSPhone Gameboy Advance emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch is now available for use. This new build will carry improved sound quality, and more importantly, support for GameShark and Pro Action Replay.
Those having trouble clearing titles like, say, Megaman Zero 4 without resorting to a little extra “help” should find this new feature handy. As for the rest of gpSPhone’s changes (Quoting ZodTTD’s post):
- Better sound quality.
- Added gpSP cheat support. GameShark and Pro Action Replay supported!
- Added volume control.
- Now using Saurik’s version of libgcc in my own lib for improved compatibility and performance.
We remind the readers that this release is strictly for the members of ZodTTD.com’s Beta Testers Club. If you happen to be a member, the download is available via ZodTTD’s site via the source link. The rest of the readers will want to wait until a public release gets announced.
